The employment contract places a worker inside Poland’s labour-law system. That framework covers areas such as working hours, remuneration, leave, workplace safety and termination. It is designed for a relationship in which an employer directs and controls the work. This creates a clearer safety net for the employee, but it also brings more formal duties for the employer than a typical business-to-business arrangement.
