Dark matter does not interact with electromagnetic radiation.

Normal matter absorbs, reflects, or emits light across the electromagnetic spectrum, allowing us to see it. Dark matter does not. It is completely invisible to our telescopes and instruments. We only know it is there because of its immense gravitational influence on the visible things around it, acting like a ghost pulling on physical objects.
